Hosta 'Titanium' is a medium-sized, low-growing deciduous clump with wavy, waxy silver-blue leaves. Upright stems carry lavender-purple flowers in summer, and the Royal Horticultural Society lists a mature height and spread of 0.1–0.5 m each. ## Foliage and placement
The cool silver-blue foliage gives this compact hosta a strong texture and color contrast in a shaded border, courtyard, or container. Its leaves form a low mound, with summer flower stems rising above the foliage.
## Growing conditions
Grow in partial or full shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. The RHS lists chalk, clay, loam, and sand as suitable soil types and recommends shelter from cold, drying winds. Keep the root zone from drying out during hot or dry spells.
## Seasonal care
Lavender-purple flowers appear in summer. Hostas are deciduous, so the foliage dies back at the end of the growing season. Slugs and snails may damage leaves, and container-grown plants can be susceptible to vine weevil.
## Maintenance
Remove spent foliage as needed and clear away dead foliage after dieback. Divide the clump in early spring or late summer if it becomes crowded.
