Create design onlineAbout Hydrangea Invincibelle Mini Mauvette®
Invincibelle Mini Mauvette® is the trade name for the selected smooth hydrangea ‘NCHA7’. It forms a compact mound about 2½–3 feet tall and wide, with pink-mauve flower heads on sturdy stems; bloom begins in early summer and continues to frost in USDA Zones 4–8.
## Garden Use
Use this dwarf shrub in a border, small landscape, container, or cutting garden. Its rounded habit fits smaller planting spaces, and its flowers can be cut fresh or dried. Part sun to sun and average moisture suit it; keep the root area from drying during hot weather and choose well-drained soil.
## Color and Season
Proven Winners lists pink and purple flower tones over green foliage, with flowers opening on new wood. The cultivar’s registered selection name is ‘NCHA7’; USPP30358 was issued in 2019. Smooth hydrangea flower color is not adjusted by soil pH, unlike some bigleaf types.
## Maintenance
Cut stems back by about one-third in spring as new growth starts to encourage a sturdy base and abundant blooms. Deadheading is unnecessary.
