About Whiteout Iberis

Whiteout is a named cultivar of Iberis sempervirens, with a low mound and narrow, glossy green evergreen leaves. Its rounded clusters of small white flowers with yellow centers appear from late spring into early summer. ## Site and season The RHS describes this cultivar at about 30 cm tall and recommends full sun with moist but well-drained soil; chalk, loam, and sand are listed. NC State identifies perennial candytuft for border, edging, rock-garden, and groundcover use, and notes that flowering is strongest in full sun. The RHS lists neutral-to-alkaline soil and recommends well-drained conditions for Whiteout. ## Maintenance Trim lightly after flowering to preserve its compact shape.
