Ilex crenata 'Adorned', commonly known as Touch of Gold Holly, is a striking dwarf evergreen shrub characterized by its low-growing, mounding habit. This cultivar features small, lustrous leaves with vibrant golden-yellow edges and green centers, providing year-round illumination in the landscape. Reaching about two feet in height, it is an excellent low-maintenance alternative to boxwood, requiring no pruning. It thrives in full sun to part shade and well-drained, slightly acidic soil.
