About Harmony® Colorfall™ White Trailing Impatiens

**Harmony® Colorfall™ White** is a large-flowered white New Guinea impatiens in Danziger’s semi-trailing Harmony Colorfall series. It branches well and suits hanging baskets, pots, and mixed plantings; Danziger lists a mature height of 12–14 inches and spread of 14–16 inches ([Danziger’s product page](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/harmony-colorfall-white/)). ## Landscape Use Use the white flowers as a bright accent near the edge of a container, where the semi-trailing stems can spill. Danziger describes the line for shade baskets and pots and notes that it tolerates more sun than most New Guinea impatiens. Partial shade is a dependable starting point; sunnier placements need closer attention to moisture. [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/impatiens-hawkeri/). ## Growing Conditions New Guinea impatiens is a tender tropical perennial in warm climates and is commonly grown seasonally where frost occurs. Give it moisture-retentive, organic-rich soil with good drainage, and keep the root zone evenly moist rather than saturated or dry. In warm climates (USDA zones 10a–12b), it can persist as a perennial; elsewhere, grow it as a seasonal bedding or container plant. [Iowa State University Extension](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/faq/what-are-cultural-requirements-new-guinea-impatiens). ## Selection The exact commercial selection is sold as Harmony® Colorfall™ White within the Harmony Colorfall series. The breeder lists large white flowers, early flowering, and a semi-trailing habit, and associates the product with U.S. Patent 11,324,176. ## Maintenance Check containers frequently and water to keep the mix evenly moist, allowing excess to drain. Avoid leaving roots in standing water. Trim damaged or untidy stems as needed to preserve the cascading outline.
