Celebration Orange New Guinea Impatiens

Celebration Orange New Guinea Impatiens is a compact, mounding selection with large orange blooms on vigorous, well-branched plants. Ball Seed lists the exact selection as BFP-605 Orange and gives a 10–12 inch height and spread, with flowering in spring and summer. ## Growing Use it in containers, hanging baskets, seasonal borders, or mass plantings. New Guinea impatiens is an herbaceous annual in most gardens. It performs best in partial shade, though the species tolerates exposures from full sun to shade; brighter sites need more water. Plant in moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. This selection is listed for spring and summer bloom, while the species can continue flowering into fall. ## Maintenance Keep the root zone evenly moist without leaving it waterlogged, and check containers more often in warm, sunny conditions. Its vigorous branching means routine pruning and deadheading are unnecessary; remove damaged foliage as needed.
