INFINITY® Orange is the orange-flowered selection in the INFINITY® New Guinea impatiens series. This compact, mounding plant carries large orange blooms above dark green foliage and is commonly grown as a warm-season annual.
## Landscape Use
The [Proven Winners INFINITY culture sheet](https://www.provenwinners.com/sites/provenwinners.com/files/pdf/sell-sheets/InfinityTipSheet-12.pdf) lists INFINITY® Orange as a distinct series selection and recommends containers and landscape plantings. The [exact-name profile](https://www.gardenia.net/plant/impatiens-infinity-orange) describes a 10–14 inch tall plant with a 6–12 inch spread. Use it in shaded borders, containers, hanging baskets, or window boxes, where orange flowers add color from late spring until frost.
## Growing Conditions
Give the plant partial shade to shade and a sheltered position. Grow it in moist, well-drained soil; adding organic matter supports the growing conditions recommended for New Guinea impatiens. The species tolerates a broad range of light, but needs more water in sunnier sites. The exact-name profile lists hardiness zones 10–11; in colder regions it is commonly grown as an annual. NC State Extension describes the species' general spring-through-fall bloom season and moist-soil preference.
## Maintenance
Keep the soil evenly moist, especially during establishment and warm weather. Check moisture more often if the plant receives more sun. The INFINITY series is self-cleaning, so spent blooms do not need routine deadheading. Inspect plants for aphids, spider mites, and vine weevils, which the exact-name profile lists among common pests.
