SunPatiens® Vigorous Red Sunpatiens

SunPatiens® Vigorous Red is a red-flowering interspecific impatiens in Sakata’s vigorous line, with a mounding habit. Ball Seed’s profile for cultivar code SAKIMP048 gives a mature size of 18–36 inches tall by 22–36 inches wide and lists spring, summer and autumn flowering. ## Planting and seasonal display Use the published size ranges instead of a single point when planning spacing; the upper values reach three feet. Sakata’s culture guide presents SunPatiens for sun through partial shade and for landscape beds and containers, so this vigorous plant can fill a larger seasonal display or a substantial patio pot. The product profile identifies the red selection separately from other colors under cultivar code SAKIMP048 and product code 096406152004463. ## Maintenance Ball Seed classifies water need as Heavy and maintenance as low. Check moisture in beds and containers as weather and pot size change; the category signals a greater water demand, not a fixed schedule.
