Infinity® Blushing Crimson is the New Guinea impatiens selection ‘Kiamuna’ (USPP 20,938), with large pink and crimson-red flowers over dark green foliage. It is a vigorous, mounding selection that flowers from late spring to frost; Proven Winners lists the Infinity series for partial shade to shade and a mature height of 10–14 inches. ## Growing Conditions
Grow it in partial shade for best performance, though New Guinea impatiens can grow from full sun to deep shade. Use moist, well-drained soil with organic matter; sunnier exposure requires more frequent watering. [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/impatiens-hawkeri/)
## Landscape Uses
Set it in a shaded border or mass planting, or use it in containers, hanging baskets, patio planters, and window boxes. The pink and crimson display brings color to shaded spaces. ## Bloom Season
Expect flowers from late spring to frost in temperate gardens; species guidance places flowering from spring through fall, and Infinity varieties may continue winter flowering in Sunbelt conditions. ## Maintenance
Keep the root zone moist but not waterlogged or dry. Check containers often as they dry more quickly, especially in hot, windy weather. Pinching is not recommended for Infinity varieties because the plants branch without it.
