About Harmony® COLORFALL™ Light Coral New Guinea Impatiens

Harmony® COLORFALL™ Light Coral is a trailing New Guinea impatiens selected for hanging baskets, patio pots, combinations and landscape planting. Danziger’s Light Coral sheet lists a trailing habit, large flowers, good heat tolerance and shade or partial shade exposure; it gives the series a mature size of 12 × 16 inches (30 × 41 cm). ## Form and placement The Colorfall line is bred for a trailing habit and is suited to baskets and patio containers. Danziger’s current series page describes early flowering and semi-trailing growth, and lists a broader mature series range of 12–14 inches high and 14–16 inches wide. The named Light Coral selection appears on the Danziger production sheet. ## Light and seasonal interest Provide shade to partial shade; the series can tolerate more sun than many New Guinea impatiens. The species profile notes that plants perform best in partial shade and need more water as sunlight increases. New Guinea impatiens flowers from spring through fall and can be used in containers, borders, walkways, foundation plantings and mass plantings; the species also attracts butterflies. ## Maintenance Keep the growing medium moist and well drained, with organic matter. Check containers regularly and water more often in brighter exposures.
