Harmony® COLORFALL Orange Blaze is a New Guinea impatiens selection with orange flowers and the trailing habit of the COLORFALL series. Use it where stems can spill from seasonal containers or soften the edge of a shaded bed; Danziger positions the series for shade through part-sun conditions.
## Garden Use
Pair this named orange selection with foliage plants or contrasting flowers in hanging baskets, patio containers, and window boxes. In beds, place it at a border's front edge or group it for seasonal color. New Guinea impatiens are tender perennials in warm regions and are commonly grown as annuals where winter temperatures fall below their hardiness range.
## Growing Conditions
Grow in filtered light or partial shade, protecting plants from intense afternoon sun. Use fertile, organic-rich, well-drained soil and maintain even moisture; brighter exposures increase water demand, while saturated mix can damage roots. [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/impatiens-hawkeri/) describes *Impatiens hawkeri* for partial shade and moist, well-drained sites. The [COLORFALL series](https://www.danzigeronline.com/series_annuals/harmony-colorfall/) provides its trailing habit and light guidance, and the [Orange Blaze selection page](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/harmony-colorfall-orange-blaze/)) identifies this distinct named color.
## Maintenance
Check baskets and containers often in warm weather and water before the root zone dries. Remove broken or declining stems as needed, and replace plants before frost in cold-winter climates.
