About Harmony™ RADIANCE Hot Pink Impatiens new Guinea

Harmony™ Radiance™ Hot Pink is a compact New Guinea impatiens grown for large, vivid pink flowers. Its mounded habit and extended flowering make it useful for adding a concentrated block of color to a container or garden display. ## Seasonal Display The breeder describes an early-flowering series that reaches bloom about 12 weeks after sticking. In a Penn State summer trial, this exact Hot Pink selection carried pink flowers and performed consistently through July and September. Trial plants measured 12 inches tall and 19 inches wide; the series listing gives a broader 14–18 inch height and 12–14 inch width, so allow for site and production differences. ## Siting and Size The compact, rounded plants suit mixed containers, hanging baskets, and landscape beds. Group several plants where their large flowers can read as a continuous patch of color. Use the observed trial dimensions as a planning guide rather than forcing a single mature-size point. ## Maintenance Use soil that retains some moisture but drains well, and give the planting afternoon shade. Illinois Extension notes that New Guinea impatiens tolerate partial sun and need good drainage. The [Harmony Radiance series page](https://www.danzigeronline.com/series_annuals/harmony-radiance/) and [Penn State's exact-selection trial record](https://agsci.psu.edu/flower-trials/Plant-Name/Impatiens-NewGuinea-Harmony-Radiance-Hot-Pink) document the series habit and size alongside the cultivar's flower color and trial performance. [Illinois Extension's impatiens guide](https://extension.illinois.edu/flowers/impatiens) describes New Guinea types as suited to partial sun, moisture-retentive soil, and good drainage.
