SOL LUNA Candy Apple Hybrid Impatiens

SOL LUNA Candy Apple is a named color selection in Danziger’s SOL LUNA line of hybrid impatiens. The breeder lists the series as mounded, heat tolerant, and spring–summer flowering, with a 12–16-inch height and 12–14-inch spread. ## Selection and use The official [Danziger SOL LUNA 2026 sheet](https://www.danzigeronline.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Impatiens-Sol-Luna-2026.pdf) lists Candy Apple among the series selections and recommends the line for patio pots, packs, and landscape planting. Its mounded habit suits seasonal containers and planted displays where a rounded outline can fill space. ## Siting Danziger reports that SOL LUNA performs in sunny and shaded placements and notes heat tolerance. Use it where seasonal color is wanted in beds or containers, choosing exposure to suit local light and heat. The sheet lists spring and summer flowering; exact timing varies with growing conditions. ## Maintenance Check container moisture through warm weather and water when the growing mix begins to dry; allow excess water to drain. Remove damaged stems and spent growth as needed to keep the display neat. Let new plantings establish before expecting full seasonal coverage.
