Create design onlineAbout SOL LUNA PRIME™ Peach
SOL LUNA PRIME™ Peach is a mounded hybrid impatiens selected for early flowering, strong growth, and flexible placement in bright or shaded sites. Danziger positions the PRIME series for landscapes and containers of several sizes, distinct from the smaller SOL LUNA Compact line.
## Form and use
The [variety page](https://www.danzigeronline.com/catalog/annuals/sol-luna-prime-peach/) lists 14–16 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide, with a mounded habit, medium flowers, high growth intensity, and suitability for 15–18 cm pots, ground cover, and landscape use. Its metric height is paired as 30–40 cm, which does not exactly match the inch range, so treat the published sizes as approximate intervals rather than a single mature-size point. The [2026–27 catalog](https://www.danzigeronline.com/files/smart-view/annuals_26_na/) gives the same dimensions for PRIME and lists the named variety in the series. Danziger says PRIME flowers 7–10 days faster on average than the original Sol Luna line and suits quarts, gallons, patio pots, and hanging baskets.
## Growing conditions
The exact selection page describes outdoor performance from full sun to full shade. A [KPU hybrid-impatiens profile](https://plantdatabase.kpu.ca/PlantPrint/imhy) identifies Balsaminaceae and well-drained growing media. [Iowa State Extension's New Guinea impatiens guidance](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/growing-impatiens-home-garden) recommends moist, well-drained soil and frequent checks for container plants; water when the surface becomes dry and avoid allowing media to remain saturated or dry. Use that broad guidance with local exposure and pot size in mind.
## Maintenance
Check container moisture frequently during warm weather and remove damaged foliage as needed to keep plantings tidy.
