[Syngenta Flowers product page](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70048607) [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/impatiens-walleriana/) ## Growing Use this annual for shaded containers, window boxes, border edges, or seasonal bedding. NC State recommends partial shade and moist, well-drained, organic-rich soil. Bright, indirect exposure helps protect foliage from harsh afternoon sun while providing light for flowering. ## Soil and Water Keep the growing medium evenly moist without allowing pots to stand in water. Containers dry faster than garden beds, so check them regularly in warm weather. In sunnier settings, monitor moisture more often and water before the root zone dries completely. ## Maintenance Provide drainage in pots and remove damaged leaves or spent flowers when desired. In seasonal displays, replace plants as cool weather ends their useful flowering period.
