PanAmerican Seed’s [2016 catalog](https://www.panamseed.com/documents/catalogs/14520_PASKieft_2016Catalog-LowRes.pdf) lists Coral among the color choices in the Dazzler® Series of Impatiens walleriana. The series profile gives a mature height of 9–11 inches, a spread of 13–15 inches, and coated seed.
## Flowers and placement
The catalog describes 1.5-inch blooms, uniform growth, and controlled, manageable vigor. It says the series’ colors bloom together and flower freely until frost, and lists Dazzler for packs, four-inch pots, and baskets.
## Growing conditions
Garden impatiens perform best in moist, well-drained soil and partial shade. [Iowa State University Extension](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/growing-impatiens-home-garden) recommends filtered light or morning sun with afternoon shade, and describes I. walleriana as suitable for beds, containers, and hanging baskets.
## Maintenance
Check pots and baskets often, and water when the soil surface is dry. [Wisconsin Horticulture Extension](https://hort.extension.wisc.edu/articles/impatiens-downy-mildew/) recommends spacing plants for airflow and avoiding overhead watering. If downy mildew appears, remove affected plants, seal them in bags, and dispose of them rather than composting.
