Dazzler® Tutti Frutii Mix Impatiens

The captured Dazzler® Tutti Frutii Mix is shown in the 2016 PanAmerican Seed catalogue as “Tutti Fruitti Mixture,” within the Dazzler® Series. The catalogue describes the series as controlled and manageable, filling quickly, with free flowering until frost; its historical size range is 9–11 inches tall by 13–15 inches wide. [PanAmerican Seed 2016 catalogue](https://www.panamseed.com/documents/catalogs/14520_PASKieft_2016Catalog-LowRes.pdf) ## Growth and flowering The Dazzler® catalogue says that colours across the series come into bloom together and flower freely until frost. It lists the series for pack, four-inch pot, and basket programs. The cited measurements are ranges; no single height or width point is supplied. ## Growing conditions North Carolina Extension describes Impatiens walleriana generally as a fast-growing, dense, mounding plant. Its species guidance describes late-spring, summer, and early-fall bloom, partial to full shade, moist well-drained soil enriched with organic matter, and slightly acidic pH. It identifies USDA zones 10–11 and recommends extra watering during hot, dry spells. [North Carolina Extension Gardener Plant Toolbox](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/impatiens-walleriana/) ## Maintenance In late summer, trim leggy plants by about one-third to encourage fresh growth. Keep soil moist, provide extra water in heat and drought, and avoid overwatering.
