Impreza™ Cherry Splash Impatiens

Impreza Cherry Splash is an F1 Impatiens walleriana in the Impreza series. The 2016 PanAmerican guide lists Cherry Splash with the series and describes reduced upward stretch and good garden fill. [The PanAmerican Seed guide](https://www.panamseed.com/documents/catalogs/15187_PAS_PIG_2016_Spread_HR.pdf) gives historical series dimensions of 6–8 inches high and 12–14 inches wide. ## Growing Conditions Grow in partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Iowa State Extension identifies Impatiens walleriana for beds, containers, and hanging baskets, and notes partial shade is ideal. [Iowa State’s impatiens guide](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/growing-impatiens-home-garden) offers home-garden care guidance for the species. ## Garden Use Use this annual bedding selection in shaded beds, containers, or baskets. The series’ reduced upward stretch and good garden fill suit grouped plantings or mixed containers. Keep the soil moist while allowing excess water to drain. ## Maintenance Check container soil regularly and water when its surface begins to dry. Monitor plants in warm or windy weather and adjust watering to site conditions. Avoid leaving pots in standing water.
