Xtreme™ Bright Rose Impatiens

Xtreme™ Bright Rose is a named Impatiens walleriana F1 selection from Syngenta, product 70036401. Its exact product profile lists a mounded plant 8–10 inches tall and wide for full shade to part shade, flowering from mid-spring through summer ([Xtreme™ Bright Rose profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70036401)). ## Placement and bloom Use it in packs, pots, or landscape plantings where a compact annual is useful. Syngenta describes the Xtreme series as uniform and early flowering, with short internodes, branching, and a non-stretching habit; the catalog lists Bright Rose by name and product code ([2024–2026 annuals catalog, p. 153](https://online.flippingbook.com/view/636494595/155)). ## Growing conditions Choose full shade to part shade. Impatiens walleriana grows best in moist, well-drained soil amended with organic matter and slightly acidic; water more during hot, dry weather. NC State Extension describes the species as fast-growing and annual in temperate regions ([NC State species profile](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/impatiens-walleriana/)). ## Maintenance Keep the root area evenly moist, especially in heat and in containers. If stems become leggy, trim them to keep the plant tidy. Grow it as a warm-season annual where winter temperatures fall below its listed hardiness.
