Xtreme™ Hot! Mix Impatiens

Xtreme™ Hot! Mix is a named F1 color variety of Impatiens walleriana in Syngenta Flowers' Xtreme™ series, product 70019645. The breeder's product page identifies it as a color variety and does not list the mix components. This profile retains the assigned mix name without specifying unlisted colors. ## Description The [Syngenta Flowers product page](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70019645) lists mounding habit, full or part shade, flowering from mid-spring through summer, and hardiness zone 11a. It gives both garden height and garden width as 8–10 inches, so the measurements are recorded as ranges rather than exact points. The page lists raw seed and pack, pot, and hanging-basket container formats. Its Xtreme series description notes early, uniform flowering, short internodes, branching, and a non-stretching habit. ## Garden Use The breeder describes the series for high-density pack and pot production and landscape use. At species level, [Iowa State Extension's impatiens guide](https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/how-to/growing-impatiens-home-garden) describes I. walleriana for beds, containers, and hanging baskets and recommends partial shade with moist, well-drained soil. ## Maintenance Iowa State Extension advises weekly watering for garden beds during dry weather. Check pots and hanging baskets frequently, watering when the soil surface is dry; the guide also recommends moderate fertilization.
