Xtreme™ Little Gem Mix Impatiens

Xtreme™ Little Gem Mix is Syngenta Flowers’ F1 Impatiens walleriana product, identified by product number 70019643 and offered as raw seed. The supplied “Mix” name is retained; the product page does not identify component colors, so none are inferred. Syngenta lists a mounding habit, full to part shade exposure, and flowering from mid-spring through summer, along with production traits for packs and pots. ## Form and flowering The official product page gives height and width ranges of 8–10 inches each, so this record leaves numeric point dimensions unspecified. The manufacturer also describes short internodes, branching and non-stretching growth across the Xtreme series. Its recommended formats include packs, pots and a hanging-basket size. It is perennial in tropical zones but commonly grown as an annual elsewhere. Hot, dry weather calls for extra water, while overwatering can cause rot. NC State recommends trimming the top third in late summer if growth becomes leggy; its species profile describes bloom from late spring through the first fall frost.
