Xtreme™ Pastel Mix Impatiens

Xtreme™ Pastel Mix is Syngenta Flowers’ F1 seed-raised Impatiens walleriana offered as a named color-variety mix (product 70019646). The breeder describes a mounding annual for full or part shade, flowering from mid-spring through summer and reaching 8–10 inches in both height and width. Its product page does not identify the blend’s component colors, so this profile leaves the mixture unspecified and keeps the selection’s trade identity intact; see [Syngenta Flowers’ product profile](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70019646). ## Growing Conditions Impatiens walleriana grows best in part shade to full shade and moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter; strong sun and heat can scorch or wilt it. During hot, dry spells, water more often but avoid waterlogged soil; NC State Extension also notes that late-summer trimming can refresh plants that become leggy. The species guidance applies broadly, while the named mix’s exposure and mature size come from Syngenta’s product listing. [NC State Extension’s species guide](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/impatiens-walleriana/). ## Maintenance Keep containers draining freely and soil evenly moist as the weather warms. If plants stretch late in summer, trim back the top third; in regions with frost, treat this tropical species as an annual or bring containers indoors before cold weather.
