Vigorous Orchid SunPatiens

SunPatiens® Vigorous Orchid is a named selection in Sakata’s vegetatively propagated Vigorous series of annual impatiens. The series is bred for vigorous branching and fast, substantial color in baskets, containers, and landscape beds. ## Habit and Placement Sakata describes the series as mounded and spreading, with plants 18–34 inches tall and 16–24 inches wide. Its broad habit suits larger containers, hanging baskets, or mass plantings where it has room to fill out. The series is intended for full sun or part shade and is positioned for strong performance in cooler regions. Its vegetative growth and strong branching create a full display in beds and containers. ## Maintenance Choose a sunny or partly shaded site and leave room for spreading growth. Sakata states that plant growth regulators are not needed when the plants are grown as directed.
