Infinitini Magenta Crapemyrtle

Infinitini® Magenta is a compact, rounded crapemyrtle with deep magenta-pink flowers in summer and bright green foliage. It grows about 2–4 feet tall and wide, making a small but vivid accent for a sunny border, container or foundation planting. ## Flowers and form This named selection is Lagerstroemia indica ‘G2X133271’, U.S. Plant Patent PP 27,474. Proven Winners describes it as a dense, reblooming shrub with long-lasting flowers on new wood. Its foliage is deciduous; the grower lists USDA Zones 6–12. ## Siting Plant in full sun for best flowering. The breeder recommends moist, well-drained, acidic soil and lists average water needs. The compact habit also suits mass planting or a small specimen space; the breeder notes deer resistance. ## Maintenance This selection is rated easy to care for and seldom needs pruning. If shaping is needed, prune after flowering; remove dead wood as needed.
