Infinitini Watermelon® is a dwarf, spreading crapemyrtle with watermelon-pink flowers through summer and fall. It grows about 2–4 feet tall and wide, with green foliage that turns yellow, orange and red in fall before its peeling bark shows in winter.
## Flowers and form
This named selection is Lagerstroemia indica ‘G2X133181’, U.S. Plant Patent PP 29,007. Proven Winners describes the flowers as continuous or reblooming, borne on new wood, and lists the plant for USDA Zones 6–10. The low, rounded spread works along borders and edges, in containers, or as a small focal point.
## Siting
Plant in full sun for the best flowering. Water regularly while it establishes; the grower classifies its mature water needs as average. The source also notes that plants in colder climates may die back to the ground, then regrow from their roots and flower in the same season.
## Maintenance
This cultivar naturally stays low and spreading and needs no regular pruning. If shaping is needed, prune lightly in early spring as new growth begins, and remove dead wood then.
