Sweet Georgia® Green Splash is an ornamental sweet potato vine in the Sweet Georgia series. The [patent record](https://www.hort.net/pedia/patent/grant/32245/) identifies the selection as ‘ISGGS10-0’ and describes heart-shaped leaves with yellow-and-green variegation, a dense semi-compact mound, and free branching. Green Fuse’s 2022 catalog lists it at 4–8 inches tall and 24–30 inches wide.
## Form and Use
The patent describes a semi-compact, mounding plant with dense foliage and many lateral branches. Its measurements describe an eight-week greenhouse plant in a one-gallon container, so they do not establish mature garden size. Green Fuse’s [Sweet Georgia page](https://green-fuse.com/new/ipomoea-sweet-georgia/) lists Green Splash among the series selections, and its [2022 liner catalog](https://viewer.joomag.com/2022-liner-catalog/0458788001628597960/p262) lists the selection as compact and mounded.
## Light and Moisture
The breeder’s [Sweet Georgia culture sheet](https://green-fuse.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Ipomoea-Sweet-Georgia%C2%AE.pdf) recommends full sun and evenly moist growing media for the series. It notes that established vines can dry quickly as leaf area expands, so check containers regularly during active growth.
## Maintenance
The culture sheet says pinching is not required in four- to six-inch pots and is optional in larger containers. It recommends avoiding moisture stress, which can slow development and cause leaf yellowing; it also identifies aphids and whiteflies as common insect problems to monitor.
