Green Mound Juniper Topiary

The named selection itself is ground-hugging, so the topiary designation describes this catalog form rather than a different botanical identity. ## Form and landscape use The Morton Arboretum reports the ‘Green Mound’ selection at about 8–10 inches tall and 5–6 feet wide, with needles that do not turn brown in winter and a center that stays low as the plant spreads. Oregon State University also distinguishes ‘Greenmound’ from ‘Nana’, describing Greenmound as a low mat about 8 inches high.
