About Copper Spoons

Kalanchoe orgyalis, commonly known as Copper Spoons, is a slow-growing succulent shrub native to Madagascar. It features unique, spoon-shaped leaves that are densely covered in fine, cinnamon-colored hairs, giving them a distinct metallic bronze appearance. As the foliage matures, it transitions to a silvery-gray hue. This multi-branched plant can reach heights of six feet in ideal conditions. It produces clusters of bright yellow flowers in late winter, adding a vibrant contrast to its velvety, sculptural foliage.
