Fan Aloe Plant

Kumara plicatilis, the Fan Aloe, is a striking succulent tree or large shrub known for its unique dichotomous branching and fan-like leaf arrangement. The blue-gray, tongue-shaped leaves are stacked in two opposite rows, creating a sculptural architectural form. In winter and spring, it produces vibrant orange-red tubular flowers on upright stalks. It thrives in well-drained, acidic soil and prefers sunny locations with some protection from intense afternoon heat in hotter climates.
