Infinitini Purple Crapemyrtle Shrub

Infinitini® Purple is a compact, deciduous crapemyrtle with a mounded form and vivid purple blooms on new wood from summer until frost. Proven Winners identifies this selection as Lagerstroemia indica 'G2X13368' (USPP 30,766), lists it at 3–5 ft tall and wide, with zones 6a–9b, full sun, average water, and deer resistance. The [exact Proven Winners plant profile](https://www.provenwinners.com/plants/lagerstroemia/infinitini-purple-crapemyrtle-lagerstroemia-indica) notes that harsh winters may kill the top growth back, followed by regrowth and summer flowering. ## Maintenance Choose a sunny, well-drained site and provide average moisture during the growing season. In colder parts of its range, mulch over the roots; if top growth dies back, wait for new growth before pruning. In milder areas, prune in early spring only if needed, since the plant blooms on new wood. Remove dead or crossing stems while preserving its naturally mounded form.
