Petite Snow™ (‘Monow’) is a compact, deciduous crape myrtle with upright branching and clusters of white, crepe-like flowers in summer. Monrovia lists a mature size of about 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide, making this selection useful in smaller landscapes, along a sunny border, or in a large container. The white bloom can also brighten a warm-colored planting when grouped in a repeated mass.
## Seasonal Interest
Flower clusters appear in summer, followed by yellow fall foliage. The smooth, exfoliating bark becomes more visible as the plant matures. Its naturally small, shrubby form gives it a different role from larger tree-form crape myrtles.
## Growing Conditions
Give it full sun for best flowering. Monrovia recommends average, well-drained soil and deep watering when the soil dries; water regularly through the first growing season while roots establish. The listed USDA range is Zones 7–9. Container plants may need more frequent watering than plants in the ground, especially during hot, windy weather.
## Maintenance
Feed before new growth begins in spring. For a tree-like framework, thin young stems in late winter or early spring; remove basal suckers as needed. Sources: [Monrovia Petite Snow plant profile](https://www.monrovia.com/petite-snow-crape-myrtle.html).
