‘Miss Huff’ lantana is a fast-growing, mounded woody perennial known for showy orange flower clusters from spring into fall. This Georgia selection can make a substantial 4–6 foot mound in both height and width, so give it open space rather than treating it as a compact edging plant.
## Siting and seasonal display
Plant in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. The North Carolina Extension profile reports that established plants tolerate heat and drought and attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Its orange blooms and quick growth suit a sunny shrub border, foundation planting, pollinator garden, or larger patio container. The [Miss Huff cultivar profile](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/lantana-camara-miss-huff/) also gives its dimensions, growing conditions, and regional hardiness range.
## Growth and wildlife
The stems spread quickly and can fill a space, but the plant may grow aggressively in favorable climates. Allow room around paths and neighboring plants, and check local guidance before planting where lantana can become weedy. The berries are eaten by birds, although unripe berries are poisonous to people and livestock; avoid placing the plant where grazing animals can reach it.
## Maintenance
This lantana is low maintenance once established. Water during establishment and extended dry spells, then use its mature size to guide placement and any needed containment.
