Create design onlineAbout Lucky™ Lavender Lantana
Lucky™ Lavender is a compact, medium-spreading lantana selected for mixed containers and landscape plantings. Ball FloraPlant lists the cultivar denomination as ‘Baluclav’ and describes the Lucky varieties as free-branching with medium vigor. This selection grows 12–16 inches tall and spreads 12–14 inches.
## Garden use
Set it in full sun in a mixed container, border, or landscape bed. Its compact, branching growth makes it suitable for combinations where a moderate spread is useful.
## Growing notes
Ball FloraPlant notes that Lucky lantanas stand up to heat, drought, and other stressful conditions. Allow the potting mix to dry regularly between waterings, while checking containers during hot weather.
## Maintenance
The breeder says the free-branching habit reduces the need for pinching, though pinching can be used to shape the plant. Trim back stems that extend beyond the space available.
