About Pink Caprice Lantana

Pink Caprice is a lantana cultivar with pink-and-yellow flower clusters and a mounding display. Lantana generally blooms from midsummer until frost, and its flowers can attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Grow this selection in sunny, well-drained soil and allow room for it to fill its planting area. ## Garden use Use Pink Caprice in a sunny border, mixed container, or hanging basket. Lantana can grow quickly, so leave space for the plant to spread and avoid crowding neighboring plants. ## Growing notes Lantana prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil, though established plants can tolerate dry periods and poorer soils. Water regularly while new roots establish, then adjust watering to rainfall, heat, and soil drainage. ## Maintenance Trim back stems that extend beyond the space available and remove spent flower clusters as needed. Check growth through the season and prune lightly to maintain the desired shape. Sources: [NC State Extension lantana profile](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/lantana-camara/).
