Lavandula 'Meerlo' is a vigorous, upright evergreen subshrub reaching 2 to 3 feet in height and width. It is highly prized for its aromatic, slightly serrated gray-green leaves edged in a striking cream-to-yellow variegation. In mid-summer, it produces fragrant, pale lavender-blue flowers on tall stems. Exceptionally tolerant of heat, humidity, and drought, it thrives in well-drained soil and is ideal for borders, rock gardens, or containers in USDA zones 9 through 10.
