Lavender 'LaDiva Eternal Elegance'

LaDiva Eternal Elegance is a compact, semi-upright English lavender with purple flowers and green foliage. Dümmen Orange identifies it as a commercial variety in the La Diva Eternal series; the National Garden Bureau lists it at 12–20 inches high by 18–22 inches wide and notes its early flowering and fragrance. ## Plant Character This selection suits sunny beds, edging, and containers where an upright outline and fragrant bloom are welcome. The Dümmen product page gives the cultivar code 78215 and distinguishes its purple flower color from its green foliage. The National Garden Bureau’s 2022 new-variety profile names Dümmen Orange as breeder and describes it as unusually early for an English lavender. ## Growing Conditions Treat its care as that of English lavender: provide full sun and free-draining soil, and avoid sites that stay wet. The Royal Horticultural Society describes the species as adaptable across acidic, neutral, and alkaline soils when drainage is good. Leave the listed spread between plants so air can move through the foliage. ## Maintenance Remove finished flower stems and trim lightly after flowering to keep the plant compact. Avoid cutting into old woody growth; in cold or wet regions, do not prune hard in autumn.
