Vintro™ Forte Blue Lavandula

Vintro Forte Blue is an upright English lavender with blue flowers and strong stems. Syngenta describes this mid-vigor selection as suited to containers and overwintered culture. ## Flowers and form The plant reaches about 14–18 inches tall and 10–12 inches wide, with flowers from late spring through fall. Syngenta lists the blue-flowered variety as pollinator-friendly and heat-loving. The RHS describes English lavender flowers as fragrant and foliage as aromatic. ## Growing conditions Give it full sun and well-drained soil. Syngenta lists USDA zones 5a–9a and notes that this series tolerates the rigors of wet and cold overwintering. Its upright habit and compact width suit small borders, edging, and patio pots. ## Maintenance Trim lightly after flowering to preserve a compact shape, and avoid cutting back into old bare stems.
