'Anouk' is a compact evergreen Spanish lavender with narrow silver-gray leaves and dark flower spikes topped by showy bracts. The [RHS profile for this exact cultivar](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/241286/lavandula-stoechas-anouk-anouk-series/details) describes dark blue flowers with purple bracts from late spring into summer, full sun, and free-draining soil. North Carolina State Extension lists a 1–2-foot shrub form; a trained standard or topiary can stand taller than the compact shrub; overall height and crown width depend on its stem and pruning.
## Form and placement
This lavender suits a sunny patio or a well-drained border where its clipped tree form can serve as a focal point. The ordinary shrub remains compact, while the trained silhouette takes more vertical space. The [Canadian cultivar record](https://active.inspection.canada.ca/english/plaveg/pbrpov/cropreport/lave/app00005843e.shtml) identifies 'Anouk' as a distinct selection of Lavandula stoechas and names its breeder.
## Maintenance
Keep the root zone sharply drained and water during establishment. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain the crown, but avoid cutting into old bare stems. Protect the plant from prolonged winter wet and severe cold; shelter a container-grown standard when needed.
