Laveanna™ White Frost is a compact, upright Spanish lavender with fragrant gray-green foliage and early flowers topped by pale bracts. Danziger describes it as a pollinator-friendly selection for pots and landscape beds, reaching 10–14 inches tall and 12–16 inches wide.
## Form and placement
The flowers rise above the foliage on short stems, bringing a distinct bracted texture to sunny borders, gravel gardens, and patio containers. Its relatively small spread makes it useful near paths or at the front of a mixed planting. Danziger lists hardiness in Zones 7–9; winter performance depends on drainage and local exposure.
## Growing conditions
Plant in full sun and well-drained soil. Spanish lavender is vulnerable to cold, wet conditions, so use a sharply drained raised bed or a container with open drainage where winters are damp. The Royal Horticultural Society and NC State Extension describe the species’ aromatic foliage, spring-to-summer flowering, and pollinator value.
## Maintenance
Remove faded flower stems after bloom. A light trim in late summer can keep the plant compact; avoid cutting into old woody growth or pruning in autumn where cold, wet weather is expected.
