Leading Lady Amethyst is a compact, clump-forming perennial that reaches just 10 to 14 inches in height. This well-behaved bee balm features fragrant green foliage and produces a stunning display of light amethyst purple flowers with dark spots in early summer. Ideal for the front of borders, containers, or mass plantings, it thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers moist, fertile soil. Its spicy-scented leaves naturally deter deer while attracting a parade of pollinators to the garden.
