Western Star™ Pisces is a Shasta daisy in Syngenta’s Western Star series, with white-and-cream bicolor flowers and an upright habit. ## Garden use
Use this compact perennial in a sunny mixed border or a suitably sized container. The Royal Horticultural Society recommends perennial leucanthemums for mixed borders and notes they do best in sun, though light shade is tolerated. Soil should drain freely; avoid persistently wet ground. [RHS perennial leucanthemum guide](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/leucanthemum/perennial)
## Maintenance
Deadhead faded flower heads to keep the display tidy. RHS guidance recommends dividing established clumps in spring every two or three years to maintain vigor and flowering. Water new divisions while they establish, then adjust irrigation to rainfall and soil drainage.
