Create design onlineAbout Belgian Lace™ Shasta Daisy
Belgian Lace is a compact, mounding Shasta daisy with double white flowers edged in finely fringed petals. Light-yellow buds open with yellow center petals when young, and its flowers brighten summer borders from June through August.
## At a glance
This Terra Nova selection grows about 2 feet tall and 16 inches wide. The breeder lists full sun, USDA Zones 5–9, quick growth, and winter dormancy. Its low mound works along an edge, in a mixed border, or planted in a mass; the flowers are also suited to cutting.
## Flowers and garden use
Flowers open with a yellow center that changes as they mature. The plant’s fringed petals give the double blooms texture against green foliage. Terra Nova identifies the cultivar as PP27038 and EU grant EU46787 (TNLEUBL). The breeder notes that it is no longer sold directly by Terra Nova, but may remain available through licensees or retail sources. See the [Terra Nova plant profile](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/product/leucanthemum-belgian-lace/) and [patent list](https://www.terranovanurseries.com/resources/patent-list/) for cultivar details.
## Maintenance
Plant in full sun and average, well-drained soil. Water moderately, allowing the soil to drain between waterings. Remove spent flowers to keep the display tidy and encourage continued bloom; cut back dormant stems in late winter or early spring.
