Lucille™ Chic is an upright, early-flowering Shasta daisy selected for single white blooms and compact proportions. Danziger lists it at 30 cm tall and 30–40 cm wide, and identifies it as part of the Lucille™ series. The [Danziger Lucille™ Chic plant profile](https://wpml.danzigeronline.com/catalog/perennials_catalog/lucille-chic/) describes its early flowering, landscape and patio-pot uses, and production flexibility. Its neat form suits a sunny border, a small garden, or a large container where the bright flowers can be seen at close range.
## Growing notes
Choose a sunny position and well-drained soil. Keep the root zone evenly moist while the plant establishes, then water during dry spells. The species is a clump-forming perennial; avoid waterlogged soil and give foliage room for air circulation. Danziger describes the variety as first-year flowering without bulking or vernalization requirements, a production trait useful to growers rather than a care requirement for a garden planting. General Shasta daisy guidance is available from [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/leucanthemum-x-superbum/common-name/shasta-daisy/).
## Maintenance
Remove spent flowers to keep the clump tidy and encourage continued display. Cut back declining stems after flowering, and divide a crowded clump in spring. Clear dead foliage when growth resumes.
