Create design onlineAbout Shasta Daisy 'Snow Lady'
‘Snow Lady’ is a compact Shasta daisy with dark green, toothed leaves and single white flowers with yellow centers. The Royal Horticultural Society describes a clump-forming perennial that flowers through summer when faded blooms are removed, and lists full sun and well-drained soil as suitable conditions. See the [RHS Snow Lady profile](https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/117277/leucanthemum-snow-lady/details) for its broad mature height and spread range.
## Growing notes
Plant Snow Lady in a sunny border, cottage garden, or patio container where its lower habit can be appreciated. It grows in chalk, clay, loam, or sandy soils if drainage is good. Keep the soil evenly moist while the plant establishes and water during extended dry spells. This selection pairs well with grasses and later-flowering perennials, providing a clear white accent through the summer garden.
## Maintenance
Deadhead regularly to extend the flowering display, then cut back spent stems after flowering. Divide clumps every few years to maintain vigor, replanting divisions in spring or autumn. Check new growth for aphids and remove old foliage as the season turns.
