‘Limelight’ is a panicle hydrangea cultivar, Hydrangea paniculata ‘Limelight’ (USPP12874; Can PP2319), grown as a rounded deciduous shrub. Its large, green-celadon flower panicles open in summer and mature through pink, red, and burgundy shades; the shrub typically reaches 6–8 feet tall and wide. ## Form & Seasonal Interest The colorful panicles remain on the plant into fall, extending the display through the changing season. ‘Limelight’ works as a flowering screen or hedge, a specimen, or a container shrub, and its flowers can be cut fresh or dried. Allow room for the mature spread and for access around the plant. ## Growing Conditions Give it full sun in cooler regions and afternoon shade in warmer climates. It needs well-drained soil that does not remain soggy; average moisture is suitable, with regular water during establishment and prolonged dry weather.
