Limelight Prime® Panicle Hydrangea

An improvement on the already amazing 'Limelight' hydrangea. 'Prime' boasts earlier blooms, deeper and more appealing foliage, stronger stems and a more compact form. Clusters of buds open to lime green flowers that eventually fade to near white before becoming pink to nearly red in cool fall weather. Does best with afternoon shade in hot locations. To prune, cut back no more than 1/3 of the branch in late winter or late fall so long as the plant is fully dormant.
