About QIS Rose Limonium

QIS Rose statice is a seed-grown Limonium sinuatum selection with rose-pink flower stems. The upright plants produce clouds of tiny, long-lasting florets that suit fresh bouquets and dried arrangements. ## Growing and Flowering Ball lists QIS Rose for summer and late-summer flowering in full sun, at about 30–35 inches tall and 8–10 inches wide. The QIS series is valued for uniformity, stem quality and non-shattering flowers; its stiff stems need no netting in production. Give plants well-drained soil and light to medium moisture. The species can suffer in waterlogged ground and may struggle in hot, humid conditions. [Ball Seed’s QIS Rose product page](https://www.ballseed.com/WEBTRACKPLANTINFO.ASPX?PHID=139101222004669&env=P) provides selection-specific details, while [NC State Extension](https://plants.ces.ncsu.edu/plants/limonium-sinuatum/) supplies species-level cultivation guidance. ## Maintenance Grow in a sunny, well-drained site with good air circulation. For cut stems, harvest when at least half the florets are open and their calyces are colored; hydrate promptly after cutting. Stems can also be dried. Avoid overwatering to limit root and crown rot.
