Glow™ Blue Volt Lobelia erinus

Glow™ Blue Volt is a compact Lobelia erinus selection with small blue flowers and a mounded, semi-trailing habit. Danziger lists it at 8–10 inches tall and 12–14 inches wide, for patio pots, hanging baskets and landscape planting. ## Flowering and placement The official plant page describes early flowering and heat tolerance. Its mounded center and trailing edges suit mixed containers and baskets, while its small blue flowers can fill gaps at the front of a seasonal border. Allow the spread to drape over container edges without crowding nearby plants. ## Growing conditions Use organically rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Lobelia erinus flowers most reliably in cool spring weather and needs consistent watering; it does not tolerate drought. In hot-summer regions, provide afternoon shade and check baskets frequently, since containers dry faster than garden beds.
