Regatta Lilac Lobelia

Regatta Lilac is an early-flowering trailing lobelia with a compact, mounded habit and soft lilac blooms. PanAmerican Seed lists plants at 6–8 inches tall and 10–12 inches wide, with flowers in early spring and spring. ### Garden Use Let the trailing stems spill over the edge of hanging baskets, window boxes, and larger containers, or use the plants in mixed color bowls. The compact size also suits the front of a seasonal display. ### Growing Conditions Set plants where they receive partial sun. Leave about 10–14 inches between plants in a garden planting so the foliage and flowers can spread without crowding. ## Maintenance Check containers regularly and water when the growing mix begins to dry; pots can dry faster than garden soil. Remove tired stems if needed to keep the display tidy. [PanAmerican Seed: Regatta Lilac](https://www.panamseed.com/Products/039301242002930/lobelia-regatta-lilac/).
