Techno® Deep Blue with Eye Lobelia

Techno® Deep Blue with Eye is a mounding, spreading lobelia with blue flowers marked by a contrasting eye. [Syngenta’s product page](https://www.syngentaflowers.com/ams/product/flower/70096106) lists a 6–10 inch height, an 18–22 inch spread, and flowering from early spring into summer. ## Growing conditions Plant in full sun or part sun and provide rich, well-drained soil that stays evenly moist. Lobelia erinus is generally used as an annual and flowers most reliably in cool spring weather; hot, humid conditions can slow or stop flowering. ## Garden use The compact spread works along a border edge and in mixed containers, window boxes, or hanging baskets. The blue-and-eye pattern gives close-up color, and the flowers can attract pollinators. ## Maintenance Water regularly and do not let the root ball dry out. After the first flush, shear or trim the plant lightly and continue watering to encourage fresh growth; avoid persistently soggy soil, which can lead to rot.
